Aims

Aims of the Association (19th February 2017)

1. Protect, maintain and enhance Didcot's public amenity green spaces (including their flora and fauna) so that they can be safely enjoyed by the local community and visitors as places of nature, sport, recreation, relaxation and pleasure to enhance the wellbeing and mental health of all.
2. Reverse the decline of these spaces and support them becoming examples of good practice as set out in the Green Flag Award and Green Heritage Award schemes.
3. Encourage local people's interest in the spaces and encourage them to become involved in the management and development of the spaces.
4. Work in partnership with Didcot Town Council, South Oxfordshire District Council and Didcot Garden Town and other organisations in forwarding these aims.

(subject to rewording from time to time at the descretion of the committee, provided the aims broadly remain the same)
